"Wisconsin DNR gets 1.7 million dollars to fight CWD"
Wisconsin is broke. We are billions of dollars in the hole. Services are being cut. The legislature used all the tobacco settlement funds to "balance" the budget.The DNR asks for 1.7 million dollars to kill deer and it magically appears although hunting revenue does not equal the taxes from one Milwaukee corporation.
The hunting culture is the last refuge of male machismo and they treat it as a sacred thing to be defended with every resource available.
